Fountain pen Day 2021.

Current FP love is my Cross Wanderlust-Antelope Canyon. Pairs perfectly with fuyu-gaki and life in red rock country of northern Arizona!

My son recently purchased the S T Dupont Line D in ruby and I’m quite covetous.

My current fave is a Platinum Kanazawa Maki-e. I have two, one in fine point and the other in medium. The Medium is an absolute joy, both to write with, and to look at. I love the Autumn Leaves design!

Testing out some inks and picking a color theme for the rest of November. Reds, oranges, and Yellow/Browns are winning out.

My favorite pen currently is a toss-up between my TWSBI Eco and my Lamy AL-Star. I use the Eco for taking notes during the day and the AL-Star for journaling in the evening. Both great pens and I love cycling between them!

I received my first fountain pen as a gift at the age of 16. I fell in love since then and still own it. Until now, age 35, I bought my first fountain high-end fountain pen. I’m excited to see if I Win one from the contest. I can’t wait to grow my collection to teach my children the beauty of using one.

Fountain Pen day should be a much bigger event!! I’m a pen addict, Pen Boutique has played a large role in my addiction!! Then they have to have great sales and great deals. I spent time reviewing some pens and appreciating my collection!

This is one of my favorite days every year! I picked up a fun new Esterbrook today. This day brings all of us in the community together and I love it.

It’s too hard to name a favorite pen. Fountain Pen Day will be excellent for picking up some gifts for family members. I have 2 nephews who are really into fountain pens and another who uses them for drawing.

The Kagero special edition was my introduction to Pen Boutique and to the Sailor 1911L, both are now my favorites: Attractive, reliable & a pleasure to work with.

My favourite pen is whatever one I’m using — except for that one in my case that I haven’t used for a while or that one I just remembered I’ve been meaning to ink so it doesn’t feel neglected…
What I have inked right now is a Narwhal Las Coloradas, a couple Franklin-Christophs, a TWSBI swipe, and a Sailor Autumn Rain.
I hopped on the Inkdepence Friday Chat where Mike Matteson scrolled through the Pen Boutique offerings and got out in the beautiful Fall weather to prune trees before tomorrow’s Fall foliage pick up (I hope they’ll take my chopped up branches).
And of course, I have been e-shopping.

Alas, I have missed out on some things I wanted today, but I’m always excited to see what is going on. I love my pens and use them every day.

Fountain pens are one of the greatest joys of my life. It’s always fun to see the great selection at Pen Boutique. When Covid is over, perhaps I can see the pens in person.
