You may submit a return or exchange request up to 30 days from the date of delivery. Please contact us at support@penboutique.com to initiate your return or exchange. When returning an item, enclose a copy of your invoice, the RMA# provided after contacting customer service, and include all original packaging and literature.

Our turnaround time for processing refunds or exchanges is typically within 5-7 business days upon receiving your return. For items that are damaged or defective, the process may take longer depending on the issue, but we will keep you updated throughout.

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us, and we’ll provide you with a return label. 

Items returned due to personal preference are not eligible for a return shipping label or a refund for the cost of shipping to you or for the return. Preference-based returns include, but are not limited to, disliking the nib size, pattern, color, weight, or shape of the pen.

Returns due to ordering the incorrect item, unless due to an error by a sales associate or our website, are also not eligible for a return label or shipping cost refund.

Please note: Refunds are issued in USD only, and we cannot adjust for changes in exchange rates.
Fountain Pen Return Policy

Before filling a fountain pen with ink, we ask that you dip the nib in ink first to test it. A 20% restocking fee applies if the pen has been filled with ink or if the included cartridges have been used, except in cases of damage or defects not caused by the customer.

Limited Edition fountain pens are considered inked if dipped, affecting their return eligibility and restocking fee. Contact us with any questions.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

All returns require an RMA number. Obtain one by calling (410)-992-3272 or using the “contact us” form on our site. Include your order number in your email or have it ready when calling.

Items returned without prior authorization are subject to a 20% restocking fee if undamaged. Damaged items will not be refunded. RMA numbers are valid for 15 days; items not received within this period will require a new RMA.

 

How To Prepare A Return:
  1. Contact us for an RMA#: Write this number on the label as shown below. Returns without an RMA number cannot be processed.

  2. Package Your Return: Package your item(s) securely. For security, avoid indicating the contents on the package (e.g., “Montblanc” or “Visconti”).

  3. Insure Your Package: For high-value items or packages, ensure appropriate insurance coverage. We recommend insurance for returns valued over $100.
