The new Taccia Miyabi Empress Fossils in the Sky outstanding limited edition collection features the use of Rankaku and Raden Maki-e techniques, the masterful inlay of abalone shell and gold dust combined with an expert application of Urushi lacquer for astonishing results. The tremendous skill and time invested in creating each individual work of art that you hold and write with are clearly evident, and you will love the massive famously smooth two-toned 18K gold King of Pen nib.
These fountain pens are made by hand in Taccia's Urushi studio in Wajima, enhancing traditional inlay techniques with precious metals and lacquers. The body features natural urushi lacquer and classic maki-e techniques. The airtight cushion seal cap allows for a snug closure.
Each limited edition Fossils in the Sky fountain pen is individually numbered out of 88 and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. It comes packaged in a wooden gift box and comes with a cloth pen wrap and a bottle of matching ink.
