Forged in fire and designed for innovation, the Diplomat Aero fountain pen

A Zeppelin-inspired aluminum body with groove-like depressions on the barrel and cap is individually set under a blowtorch, ensuring that no two pens will be exactly alike. Clear lacquer is applied during the finishing touches to offer a durable sheen on the body of each pen. The cap on the fountain and roller pens have a satisfying soft touch click that posts securely onto the barrel when writing. The fountain pen is available with steel nib options fills via standard international cartridge/converter (included).

Please note: The Aero pens are anodized. During the anodization process, the raw aluminum parts are placed on a metallic appliance. This is necessary to start the electrolytic process, which always needs a direct current to bring the color into/onto the Aluminium. During the anodizing process at this metallic appliance flows the direct current. The appliance makes it impossible to start the anodizing process at this part. So this leads to the metal-looking stripes inside the cap or barrel.
