The Kanazawa-haku (gold leaf) and the traditional techniques have been combined by Platinum to create a masterpiece, Ascending Dragon, second Kanazawa-haku fountain pen series. Ascending Dragon has been painted as an auspicious work inspired from the ancient time. Using special art of Kanazawa, artisans have carefully hand-layer the pen body with gold and silver leaf utilizing Momi Chirashi. Thin sheets of gold leaf are each hand-applied to create a sense of depth and an elegant glow to each one of a kind pen, the Dragon is then added using Hira-maki-e technique. The pens have detail-oriented finishes, the fountain pens come with 14k gold nib and the cap have special Slip and Seal mechanism that protects ink from drying. The fountain pens take cartridge and converter for refills. These artistic pieces are must have for pen enthusiasts.
