Retro 51 Tornado Rollerball - Iznik Garden
The Iznik Garden Rollerball by Retro51 reproduces two stone paste dishes in The Met collection and was originally crafted in the Turkish town of Iznik, which was renowned for its pottery workshops. The floral and birds themes featured on the original plates were pervasive decorative elements on 16th- and 17th-century Iznik creations.
These writing instruments have been carefully recreated with the images silkscreened onto the metal barrels of the Tornado twist-top rollerball. These are loaded in The Met licensed packaging tube that doubles as a pen stand when it's not in use
