The barrel of the pens are made of sable black ebony – one of the most opulent and hardest of precious woods in the world – and are meticulously crafted by Graf von Faber-Castell. The metal parts on all of the writing instruments are platinum plated. The fountain pens also feature an 18-carat gold magnum nib.
